Therapy and Relationship Issues

Therapy and Relationship Issues
Relationships can be difficult to navigate whether at home or at work. Emotions can arise that make us feel as if we are very alone and isolated from even our dearest friends or partners. It may be that we become constantly argumentative and spend a great deal of time fighting with others. While these feelings are bound to arise sometimes during our lives, if they become persistent and interfere with the richness of our daily living, we may need to really address the underlying issues of why we feel this way. In therapy, we will work to help to alleviate the discomfort and to navigate through underlying issues so that we can feel more connected to others in a very real way.
Relationship difficulties occur in partnerships, marriages, work-settings, with your boss, with your employees, with friends and/or with colleagues. Together, we will try to understand what your feelings are when problems arise, what triggers troublesome responses in you, what is occurring in the communication process with others, and we will work to develop skills for improving interactions with others.
I strive to help you become more conscious of how you are feeling when you relate with others so that in relationships with others you can become your most authentic self.
